About ACT

One of the oldest and most beloved community theaters in Oregon, Albany Civic Theater (ACT) has been a cornerstone of the arts in the Mid-Willamette Valley for generations.

ACT is a non-profit, all-volunteer theater dedicated to producing a diverse, year-round season of high-quality comedies, dramas, and musicals. We aim to delight audiences of all ages while offering meaningful creative opportunities for local performers, technicians, and theater lovers.

In addition to our mainstage productions, we’re proud to offer a vibrant youth program that engages young artists ages 8–18 in all aspects of theater—from acting and directing to backstage tech and design. It’s hands-on learning in a fun, supportive environment.
