2009-2010 Board of Directors
Vice President: Mat Genuser Treasurer: Nancy Fairchild Secretary: Leigh Matthews Bock Facilities Coordinator: Loren Dunn Production Coordinator: John Sams Publicity Coordinator: Emmet Jones Congratulations ...... to the 2010-2011 Board members, elected in July to take office in September: President: Dean Keeling Board members are elected annually to one-year terms, except for the secretary and treasurer, who are elected in alternate years to serve two-year terms. Elections are in July and the new Board takes office in September. For qualifications to seek Board office, see our bylaws. ACT membershipMembership in Albany Civic Theater is open to all, and carries with it the privilege of voting on the annual selection of plays, the board of directors, annual service awards and major financial decisions facing our theater. Members also form the core of our volunteer pool, performing the dozens of tasks necessary to keep our theater alive.All Board members, managers, committee members and production directors are required by the bylaws to hold active memberships. Memberships are $11 and may be purchased starting each September at the theater during performances, at any board meeting, or by contacting a board member.

Board meetingsThe ACT Board of Directors meets at 6:30 p.m. the first Sunday of each month, at the theater (unless that falls on a holiday weekend). Board meetings are open to the public, and members are encouraged to attend. Once each quarter, the theater's membership meets to consider matters delegated to them by the theater bylaws, including adopting a season, electing officers and approving an annual budget. 2009-2010 meeting datesBoard meetings are held monthly; membership are held in September, January, April and July, followed immediately by the monthly board meeting. Members are welcomed to attend board meetings. Meeting dates for the coming year are set at the September annual meeting. All meetings are on the 1st Sunday of every month, unless that's a holiday weekend, in which case the meeting will be the second Sunday, starting at 6:30pm at the theater. Meeting dates:
