... one of the oldest, best-known community theaters in Oregon ACT is an all-volunteer, non-profit community theater that takes pride in producing a year-round season of top-quality comedies, dramas and musicals chosen to appeal to a wide range of audience tastes, and to provide exciting creative opportunities for local actors, technicians and theater lovers. We also sponsor a lively and active Teen Theater program, which provides youngsters aged 13 and up with training in all aspects of theater and an opportunity to take part in our annual ACTeen production Located "between the bridges" at 111 First Ave. W. in historic downtown Albany, ACT is close to fine restaurants, cafes and pubs, and has ample free parking on performance nights. Click here for a map and driving directions to ACT ACT operates entirely on ticket revenues and private donations, reserving its outside fund-raising for special projects such as our recently completed remodeling. ACT is committed to providing access to the disabled, and offers audio assistance devices for the hearing-impaired. If you have special needs, feel free to contact us for assistance.
